Academic Building
Cumberland County College
Addition & Renovation
Vineland, NJ

The new addition and renovations to the Cumberland County College Academic Building were designed to address accessibility, teaching and learning space needs. The addition connects the two floors of the main building and the intermediate level computer classroom wing. This open and welcoming room will also provide a much needed entry and lobby area for the building. The high volume space includes an elevator, to provide accessibility to all levels, and an open, glass railed stair linking all levels. Large expanses of curtain wall create a transparency that offers views through the building and visually connects the entry pavilion to the surrounding campus pathways, courtyards and terraces. Interior renovations carve three new classrooms out of vacated office space and add new glass walled collabratoriums for group study and learning.
